A Rose For Nipsey

Currently being hung up on display at Cedar Valley College in Lancaster, TX- 'A Rose for Nipsey' is a light homage to his "Hustle and Motivate" video in which he makes a business deal for some money that he pus into the community and later gets chased by police, while Lauren's character drives the get-away car. Rest in power Eramis.

A Rose For T'Challa

'A Rose for T'Challa' is actually an homage to the late and great Chadwick Boseman who's roll as the Blank Panther in the Marvel Comic Universe gave a strong black leader of a family, a village and leader of many, but also a compassionate figure with the confidence to right wrongs and take action. Rest in power Chadwick!

A Rose for Tupac

"A rose that grew from the concrete" is a snippet of a quote of the infamous Tupac Amaru Shakur. This man was a Black Panther Party affiliate, mogul and hip-hop music icon.  Rest in power Tupac!

A Rose for Malcom

A Rose for Malcom highlights a fairly infamous picture that captures a fragile moment in Malcom's life where he's visually in a state of survival mode aiming to keep safe from enemies known and unknown. For speaking the truth of a downtrodden, oppressed individual in America- many would want to disregard or even silence one's voice. Malcom depicted the fears of every black African-American man from his day and even currently. Rest in power Malcom.

ASAP Floral

In the same style as the "Giving Roses" series, this piece is a rendition of the NY hip-hop artist, fashion icon, and mogul A.S.A.P Rocky in an all Balenciaga outfit waking down SoHo, but of course it's slightly more fanciful.
